Meet Derek

I grew up in Cranbrook B.C and have always had a love for a wide variety of music (thanks Dad for introducing me to the swing of Glenn Miller and the sweet voice of Patsy Cline). I moved to Kamloops to attend university and am now self employed as a graphic design artist. I starting DJing while working for Lee’s Music where I played for weddings, christmas parties and private shows. I later became the DJ and lighting technician for the Kamloops Blazers where I continued to entertain. These experiences introduced me to the business and helped me perfect my skills.

I am no stranger to public speaking and I’m confident with a mic in my hand. I offer my services as your MC and am not afraid to speak up if the party needs a little motivation and can also recognize when to stay quiet and let the party develop on it’s own.

My goal is to make sure everyone has a great time and that you have a memorable event! Music touches every part of my life, whether rockin’ out singing in my 80’s cover band or rocking and singing my baby daughter to sleep. I am a family man and would love the opportunity to be a part of your family’s special day.
